He tried his luck as a sweeper and center-forward before turning goalkeeper. After he became professional with AD Guanacasteca, he played for CS Herediano. He had been unlucky with injuries, which have often struck just as his international career seemed set to take off. He had a brief season in Mexico before returning to Costa Rica.
Morgan made six appearances for the Costa Rica national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He made his debut for the "Tico's" in a friendly against Jamaica on February 24, 2002[1] and collected his 6th and last cap against Colombia just before the 2002 World Cup Finals.
He was also a member of the Costa Rican squad in the 1995 World Youth Cup in Qatar.[2]
He committed suicide in November 2002.[3]
